In 2018 I built a music experiment that uses WebGL in order to create an audio-visual web page, where the visuals correspond and change to the music.
The effects are quite basic and there are far more impressive examples out there, but it gives a taste of what 3D on the web can look like, and the project was intended to be a fun learning experiment.
The library used is Three.js which is a popular JavaScript library used to create and display animated 3D computer graphics in a web browser using WebGL.
The web page can be found at:

3D web pages can bring a whole new level of excitement and interaction for users.
While it is not always practical or relevant to include 3D elements in a web page, we should feel encouraged to be mindful of its use cases and explore opportunities to include it. WebGL can be a powerful technology that continues to bring innovation to the web platform for the benefit and delight of both users and developers.
